iPhone Configuration Directions for Microsoft Exchange

  1. From the main menu on the iPhone, select Settings.
  2. Scroll the phone menu up and select Mail, Contacts, then Calendars.
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Select Microsoft Exchange.
  5. Enter your UB Email address as:ubitname@buffalo.edu
  6. In the Username field, enter your UBitName as:ad\ubitname
  7. Enter your Password.
  8. Enter a Description of the mail account.
  9. Select the Next button, located  in the top right corner of the screen.
  10. Accept the certificate error.
  11. Enter the name of the server you are connecting to:
    exchowa.buffalo.edu
  12. Select the Next button, located in the top right corner of the screen. The client will verify the synchronization of the following:
    • Mail
    • Contacts
    • Calendars
  13. You may de-select any of the options.  If you choose not to de-select any options, select the Next button.
  14. The final screen is your configured UB Exchange Mail
