Using "Previous Versions" is a quick and easy way to recover files that have been damaged, deleted, or otherwise rendered unusable.

From My Computer, right click on your I:\ drive or surf to the folder on the S:\ drive where the data is stored and select PROPERTIES. The window pictured to the left will appear. |

Click on the PREVIOUS VERSIONS tab. Previous versions are periodic snapshot backups of everything saved in this particular folder. They are done twice daily. You can retrieve a file that you are looking for by opening the |

Once you have opened the archive, you can click and drag or copy and paste the files or folders listed back to your I:\ or S:\ drive and start using them. IF the file or folder that you are looking for DOES NOT APPEAR in the Previous version folders, you must fill out a File Restore Request form. |
