How do I know if I have a problem with my AutoCAD profile?
There may be a problem with the profile if:
- Your plotter or pen styles no longer appear.
- You receive error messages when trying to save a custom paper size.
- You have deleted the setup folder located on the I:\ drive.
- Your settings in AutoCad are no longer being maintained between logins or program starts.

To fix AutoCAD profiles:
Important:
- Make certain that the I:\ drive is NOT over quota (full) before trying this corrective procedure. If the drive is at quota, then the following steps will not correct the problem.
Option 1:
Make certain that AutoCAD is NOT running before proceeding.- Open My Computer by double clicking on the icon on the desktop.
- Double click on the S:\ drive and navigate to:
S:\orgs\DigitalWorkshop\AutoCAD - Double click on the file: fixcad.vbs and if prompted with a security warning to confirm to the opening of the file, select the "Open" button
- You should now be able to use AutoCAD with the laser cutters without error.
- In AutoCAD, click on the file drop down menu and select plot style manager.
- Leave the plot style manager open and minimize auto cad.
- Open my computer
- Click on the S drive.
- Click on the Org folder --> DigitalWorkshop--> AutoCAD--> Profile folder
- Once you are in the Profile folder you need to drag the Plot Style folder into the plot style manager.
